Our Physicians

Samuel J. Laufer, M.D.

After attending medical school at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Laufer completed his internship and orthopedic residencies at the university-affiliated hospitals of UCLA, Cornell, and the University of Miami. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery in Toronto.

J. Andrew Bowe, M.D.

Dr. Bowe’s medical school training was completed at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, New York. His orthopedic surgical training and pediatric orthopedic fellowship were completed at the University of Virginia and Tufts-New England Medical Center.

Philip J. Therrien, M.D.

After attending college at Bowdoin in Maine, he continued his education at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His residency was at the University of Connecticut Hartford Hospital. His Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship training was completed at the Children’s Hospital of Boston.


David S. Weisman, M.D.

Dr. Weisman's medical school training was completed at the University of Medicine and Dentistry (UMDNJ). Dr. Weisman completed a surgical internship at Monmouth Medical Center, residency at UMDNJ and a Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship at the University of Toronto, Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

John J. McKeon, M.D.

Dr. McKeon has practiced pediatric orthopedics for twenty-five years with major teaching and administrative responsibilities at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School Department of Orthopedics and St. Barnabas Healthcare System-Children's Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Heather W. Harnly, M.D.

Dr. Harnly's medical school training was completed at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Her orthopedic surgical training was completed at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After residency, she completed a sports medicine sub-specialty fellowship.


Thomas G. McPartland, M.D.

Dr. McPartland's medical school training was completed at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. After residency, Dr. McPartland completed a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Children's Hospital Boston-Harvard Medical School.

Stephen E. Adolfsen, M.D.

Dr. Adolfsen completed his medical school training at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.  He completed his residency at Yale University and then completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.

Dominick A. Tuason, M.D.

He completed his medical school training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and then completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at TSRHC.


Deidre L. Bielicka, M.D.

Dr Bielicka graduated with honors from Rutgers University majoring in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. She completed her Orthopedic Residency at RWJUH where she served as both a chief resident and chief administrative resident.

Carla Y. Grovatt, PA-C

Upon graduation from Eastern Mennonite High School in Harrisonburg Va., Ms. Grovatt was accepted into just the 11th Physician Assistant (PA) class at Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, West Va.
